Jürgen Kruptschak

Since 2006, Jürgen Kruptschak has been shaping the Swiss-style restaurant at Kreuzbergl—and with it, one of Klagenfurt’s most trusted destinations for culinary enjoyment. Prior to that, he set new standards at the city restaurants Salzamt and Oscar. Shaped by his international experience working in seasonal roles and on cruise ships, he has developed a distinctive style: the culinary traditions of Carinthia, Slovenia, Friuli, and the Adriatic coast blend into an authentic Alpine-Adriatic cuisine. Fish, game, vegetables, and regional specialties form the foundation. The AMA “Genussregion” seal of quality confirms his commitment to quality and regional ingredients.
