Across wintry Lake Wörthersee by boat: quite different from summer, the lake gives you a calm that feels especially good during Advent.
Winter circuit on Lake Wörthersee
On Saturdays, Sundays and on 7 and 8 December, the boat circles the lake from 21 November to 20 December. From 11:30 am in Klagenfurt, you can get on and off in Krumpendorf, Maria Wörth, Pörtschach or Velden. New is the express connection with the MS Velden: three times a day, from Klagenfurt to Schlosshotel Velden in one hour.
Magical Advent on the boat
Mulled wine, smoked sausage and an hour in Velden: special trips with registration, departing from Villa Lido at 4:15 PM.
Tickets & shuttle service
Tickets are available online or on the boat (please secure yours in good time!). The shuttle bus connects Pyramidenkogel, Maria Wörth and Velden on Saturdays, Sundays, and on 7 and 8 December.
NEW: There is an express connection from Klagenfurt to Velden and back 3x a day
Departure times in Klagenfurt are 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Important: The ticket for the express connection is only available on the boat.
