Od 15. novembra do 24. decembra je na božičnem sejmu na trgu Neuer Platz na voljo cela vrsta božičnih izdelkov domače obrti, različnih daril in tipičnih kulinaričnih dobrot.
Celovška tržnica Benediktinermarkt je veliko več kot domač kruh in pisana zelenjava. Ne eleganten način združuje priznane prodajalce s podeželja in vrhunsko urbano kulinariko. Menjava generacij je v zadnjih letih prispevala k temu, da je tržnica znova priljubljena in je resnična ljubezenska izpoved do dežele Alpe-Jadran.
