Advent in Klagenfurt is an experience! In addition to the Christmas market, customs and music, this also includes various small events in the run-up to Christmas.
Every year – not only does the Christ Child come, but the Klagenfurt Tourist Board also presents a strictly limited edition of its art ball for Christmas. This year, it was designed by Villach glass artist Mario Karner.
During the Advent season, the Lendhafen transforms into a magical winter backdrop. At this Advent market, visitors can look forward to a festive atmosphere that invites them to linger and enjoy.
The Advent boat trip starts in the eastern bay of Lake Wörthersee with tours to the Advent markets in Pörtschach, Velden and the Pyramidenkogel.
Experience Advent as it was in times long past! The atmospheric Maria Saal Open-Air Museum brings the pre-Christmas period of our ancestors back to life.
